He will need an adopter who is okay with the uncertainty that FeLV can pose. FeLV can be managed and cats like Ziggy absolutely deserve the chance to live their best life - unfortunately, FeLV can sometimes cut that life short. If you have it in your heart to give cats like Ziggy a home for as long as time allows, please reach out and make an appointment to meet him. We understand that not everyone can accept the fact that their chosen pet might not have 15-20 years to be with, but we also know there are those special souls out there that can and Ziggy waits and hopes for that special someone to find him. Our shy boy Ziggy came to us when a homeowner found him with four kittens (and a momma) in their shed. A shed is no place for a kitty family to live so of course we said, "Bring them in!". Ziggy is a very shy fella - he wants to trust that we are good humans but he needs a little help with that. The right adopter for Ziggy would be gentle and slow with him and allow him time and space to feel comfortable - the reward would be so worth it! Ziggy really needs someone to love, a companion that will see his potential and love him back unconditionally - could that be you? Ziggy's DOB is approx. 5/1/2021.
