Meet Yam, a beautiful Orange Tabby cat born in June of 2018. Yam is a calm cat who prefers a peaceful and quiet environment. She would do best in a home without smaller children, as she can be easily startled by loud noises and sudden movements. When Yam is introduced to a new environment, she tends to be shy and may hide for a while until she feels comfortable. However, once she has had a chance to explore and get to know her surroundings, she becomes much more confident and affectionate. Yam is also good with other cats, and she enjoys the company of feline friends. She can be playful and active but she also loves naps. With a little patience and understanding, she will make a wonderful companion for any cat lover looking for a calm and affectionate feline friend. Yam is FIV+ and FIV+ cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats.
