Dogs: comfortable Children: older kids fineThese fun-loving kitties were born behind a shed in Holtville; their mother wasn't comfortable in close contact with people and was spayed and released to be cared for at a distance once her babies were weaned. The X-kittens were all born with differing degrees of wobbly ataxia, and thus were monitored until they reached their teens to ensure all was well. For Xander and Xara it's barely noticeable now; Xane still has some impaired balance and coordination but is a champ at getting around.All three love to play with their toys as well as each other and are social kitties who like to be in the center of the household action, plopping down wherever's convenient (for them) to monitor your comings and goings... and they don't even care if you're vacuuming, they'll just lie down in front of it. ---Xander is the most independent of the group and he has the imagination to come up with his own games more often than his siblings. He's a quieter guy, but he has a super sweet disposition; Xander's goofy playful personality comes out when he's feeling comfortable. He will purr in delight when getting pets, loves treats, and will sleep nestled against your side or hip.---Xane is highly food-motivated and will come running if you shake a treat container. He is always in the middle of the excitement and has an outsized sense of curiosity. Xane's zest for life is infectious and it is so easy to get distracted by his silly antics and mannerisms. He loves pets and likes to twist over on his back; he's not exactly asking for belly rubs, but he's sure cute! Xane has a pronounced wobble, but he doesn't let his body's lack of coordination stop him from having fun. He has gotten better at jumping up and down but will need a little extra mindfulness to make things easy for him.---Xara is an extreme foodie with big bionic ears that can hear any bag rustle and any can open... you will need to secure your food, as Xara will not hesitate to steal it. She is super talkative at mealtime with her big gorgeous eyes locking on to yours. (And oh that magnificently fluffy tail!) You can hold Xara like a baby and she will purr like there's no tomorrow. She is the lapcat of the group who will sleep and cuddle on you.Xander, Xane, and Xara have grown up around many other cats and will each need a feline friend - a sibling would be ideal! They don't mind dogs and have had exposure to multiple size canines. We recommend older children who can be mindful of Xane's wobbliness; they have done well around the tweens they've met.Xander, Xane, and Xara excel at charm. Will they captivate you?
