Our application can be downloaded at https://rappcats.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Adoption-Application-v20210422.pdf . We can usually complete an adoption within 2 business days after we receive your application. We require a vet or personal reference and will conduct a home visit. Our standard adoption fee of $150 offsets the costs of medical services and supplies so our cats are healthy and ready for adoption. If two cats are adopted, the adoption fee for the second can be lowered or waived. RappCats is a non-profit organization that helps stray, abused, abandoned and unowned cats in Rappahannock County. We are strictly no-kill. If they are old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.
