Adopt Trixie a All Black Domestic Shorthair (short coat) cat in Virginia Beach

Trixie is a gorgeous, sweet, and easygoing girl! She is a gentle little soul who loves to run around and play with anything she finds. This girl is so easy to please! She loves any food, wet or dry, and is currently enjoying Purina One kitten food and Iams kitten wet food. Trixie loves her foster brother, Petey, with whom she is bonded, so they must be adopted with. They have the best times exploring their foster home together, playing chase, wrestling, and playing with toys. She is happy to play with any toy you give her but especially enjoys playing with the toys on wands that you move around. Trixie can be a bit shy but she warms up quickly to new surroundings and loves to explore. She prefers not to be picked up or held and may dart away from an extended hand trying to pet her but that doesn’t mean she is not friendly or affectionate. She enjoys being with her humans and cuddling with them when she’s ready for a nap. She loves to curl up next to you under a blanket and sleep beside you at night too. She likes to lay in your lap and nap or will often sit on your shoulder. Trixie is such a sweet, gentle, and easygoing girl and she will do well in any home where she will be loved and adored. Trixie would most likely do well with children elementary age on up who can play with her and cuddle with her on her terms, and respect that she doesn’t want to be held or carried. Trixie hasn’t been exposed to dogs but does well around her foster family’s friendly adult cats.
