Surly is currently residing at partner Chuck & Don's location in Eden Prairie (8022 Den Road). Please stop in t o meet Surly to see if he'd be a good furry friend for you. Surly here. My name, I'm told, means menacing or threatening in appearance. I'm anything but. I'm actually pretty reserved and even maybe a bit bashful. It may be because I was abandoned, along with some other of my house kitties, by my family and left behind in what used to be our home. So, hopefully you can understand why I might be a little untrusting of humans initially. I really am a nice and friendly boy if you give me a chance. I was actually named after a local craft beer, as were my other kitty friends Summit, Urban Growler and Tin Whiskers. I'm one of the shyest of the bunch and maybe that's why I'm the only one of us who hasn't found his forever home.I have lived with many other cats before and typically do well, but my play style may be off putting to some other cats (I tend to pounce to try to initiate play). Given that, I'd pair best with playful cats and friendly females. More dominante males probably won't care for me. Don't be superstitious. Come meet me and say hi. I'm sure we can become fast friends.
