Female, DSH, born May 2023 Tara's appearance is striking. She has very soft long hair with many colors, like a fox. She is clever and brave, always trying new things and exploring. She gets along well with other cats and all people, even children, though she takes a minute to warm up to new people. Tara is very independent but also quite curious. She is extremely agile and plays hard. She loves being pet and enjoys other people's company. One of Tara's favorite activities is batting around a mouse that hangs by elastic from the top of a door jamb. If you are interested in an independent, playful kitty, Tara is the cat for you! Kittens born in care to a negative mother will not receive a FIV/FeLV test. An adopter will need to agree to cover costs of spay/neuter when he/she is age-appropriate (usually 16-20 weeks) and will need to continue his/her kitten vaccines (including rabies) as he/she grows older. Kittens under 12 weeks of age must be adopted in pairs or to a home with friendly resident feline. They will not be considered as singles.
