LONG STAY 50% REDUCED ADOPTION FEE THROUGH SEPTEMBER: $75! Sourdough has made so much progress since he first came to my house. He used to not be able to be held without being tightly wrapped up in a purrito. And every time he got the chance he would run and hide in a dark corner. But slowly he has relaxed and become an absolute sweetheart. He is an enthusiastic biscuit maker. He is still a little nervous so I don’t think he’d do well around small children or dogs. But he does love other cats to play and snuggle with. I think especially for him it’s very important that he has a confident kitty friend to make him feel more comfortable. Apply to adopt Sourdough to schedule a meet and greet with this boy! All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, given a few rounds of dewormer and started on monthly flea preventative. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix.
