Born 10/21/22 (give or take a few days) Soot is the daughter of my apartment complex's trap-evading Perpetual Kitten Machine. Soot gets along great with other cats, but is still shy with people. She'd been coming along nicely until a month ago, but between her spay and my apartment complex doing pest control, she recently had to spend a lot of time in the carrier, which made her skittish again. She will happily play in a room people are in -- including with dangly toys held by humans -- she just doesn't want to be touched. I suspect she might warm up faster in an only-cat household, where humans are her only choice if she wants attention. As it is, she plays constantly with my cats (one of whom is her older half(?) sibling and would surely adapt to yours.Soot is FIV+, which means she needs to be an indoor-only cat so she doesn't acquire secondary infections. She is otherwise healthy, spayed and up to date on shots (including rabies.)
