We got Smokey and her sister when they were kittens and they have lived with our two dogs for the past few years. She is a very sweet, cuddly, vocal inside cat. She is covered by Banfield animal care program until May 2024. We are rehoming her because has issues with using not using her litter box randomly. I’ve spent nearly a year trying everything that we can to get her to use it again including vet visits, anxiety medication, changing food, litter, and litter boxes and the problems persist. Sometimes she'll go weeks without an accident then stop using the box again, without any change in her environment. We’re think that maybe she wants to be in a household where she’s the only animal but it’s hard to be sure. We’d like to try a foster to adopt approach so that we can take her back if her new owners have the same issues and can’t keep her. We just don’t want her to end up at a shelter.
