Hi! My name is Smokey! I was rescued at Peninsula Humane Society.How cute am I?! Well apparently I’m absolutely the cutest because that’s what my foster human keeps telling me.... but it gets better. I’m also very friendly, playful, and loving! I’m always eager to say hello to all cats & humans I meet and I was running around being my cute and silly self the day I arrived in my foster home. When I’m not running around and playing, I like to be by my foster human’s side taking a kitten nap.I bet you're wondering why "special needs". Well, I arrived at Peninsula Humane Society with a heart murmur. After a cardiac consult, an echocardiogram and an ultrasound, a small birth defect (VSD) indicated a separation between lower chambers of my heart. Due to my young age it may simply resolve and will not necessarily affect longevity or my quality of life. The doctors recommended it be rechecked with a cardiologist when I’m entering adulthood at about 1 year old. Due to my outgoing and super sweet purrsonality, Give Me Shelter couldn’t let me be euthanized.
