Skylar is a drama king To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you. Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Skylar and his sister Sophie were found as several hours old kittens, clinging onto their mama Mia underneath a bed in a vacant rental property. Despite being a kitten herself, mama Mia did an excellent job raising Skylar and Sophie. The kittens are now ready for adoption. Skylar is a drama king who is very vocal about his needs. When he was weaning, he refused to walk to the food bowl, but instead, he whined and cried at his spot until the food was served in front of his highest. Nowadays, Skylar has learned that his sister would eat his share while he cries, so Skylar no longs put around at mealtime. Skylar has become a lady’s man despite being a young kitten himself. He charmed all the female vet staff at his neutering surgery visit. Additionally, this little boy is quite a character. He loves to dance with a handheld vacuum cleaner. All and all, Skylar is an energetic and playful kitten. He will keep his humans on their toes for sure. Luckily, Skylar’s sister Sophie is a mellow, “relatively” level-headed young lady who will keep Skylar grounded and hopefully out of trouble. Sophie and Skylar are a bonded pair, so they need to be adopted together. Approx. birth date: 4/16/23 Foster: CCL September 8, 2023, 2:55 pm
