Shadow is one of our very special senior cats looking for a home and a lap during her later years in life. She ended up at GGOH after her owner's surrendered her to their veterinarian - she had been brought in for vomiting and when tests showed possible renal issues, they said "euthanize" - thankfully the veterinarian said "not necessary" and contacted us. Further tests were run and her renal issues really aren't issues at all - more just the norm for an aging feline. We know that she isn't the kind of cat that most people are looking for - fact is, very few even give the seniors an initial glance. But, we also know that there are a lot of kind-hearted people in this world who like to help those that are overlooked - are you one of those people? Gosh, Shadow would be so grateful to have someone of her own to share her days with and quite frankly, so would we. Shadow is a calm, quiet girl and would be a great companion for someone wanting serenity in their life. A busy house with lots of ongoings and active younger kids is not her thing, but she would be okay with children who are older, or perhaps just visiting. She does fine around other cats but tends to stay to herself rather than interact with them. Dogs are an unknown. Shadow's DOB is 8/6/2009.
