My twin granddaughters visited me for a week, a month ago. While visiting I told them I might be interested in adopting a Cat. I had a specific list, look like my dog; black and white, female, spayed, shorthair, not scratch on my new sofa! The day they returned home, they visited their nearby animal shelter, found this kitty, called and told me” she’s perfect”. I finally agreed to take her, and my daughter and twin granddaughters, adopted her from a shelter 5 hours away from me. Our family was gathering for the 4th of July in a few days and I met and brought her home. She is perfect! No issues with her food, her liter box, she never had tried to scratch my furniture. She likes a rough interior door mat, and the Cat Tree I bought her. She tolerates and has no problem with my dog. Fast forward 2 days later, I had puffy, itchy eyes. A cat allergy from 30 years ago has reimerged. No more sleeping on the bed for Scout🥲. To be fair to all, since she loves petting attentio.
