Offspring of Calista, sibling of Julep, Beignet, Booyah, Burgoo, Moonshine, and AmbrosiaThis sweet guy was lucky enough to be born in the care of a Texas CARES rescue volunteer after his pregnant momma (Calista) was brought in as a stray. While homeless and alone, momma was in good condition and still had some runway left in her pregnancy. That time translated to extra nutrition and supportive care to help momma grow her babies. As a result, Sazerac (“Sazzy”) and his six siblings (!) came into the world perfectly healthy and hitting every kitten milestone without a hitch.This kitty is like yin and yang all in one – he’s got a great balance of sensitivity and spunk. Sazzy, who was physically the largest of his litter, formed the strongest bond with the smallest of the litter, which speaks to his kind-hearted nature. He loves to sit side by side with his momma Calista on the ledge of the window soaking in the sun and watching the birds and squirrels outside.Sazerac will do best in a home with older children or a family of grown ups who have lots of lap time available in their schedule. He is a low maintenance kitty whose aspirations include napping the day away on someone’s desk while they work and eating the occasional Churu treat. Sazzy will need to be adopted into a home with another cat, a feline friendly pup or as a paired kitten adoption to keep him company when his people are away. Sazerac is litterbox trained, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Birth date May 3, 2023.
