This hunk of gorgeousness is Salvatore! He's had quite the journey to get into rescue and could have a hard time getting adopted. Why is that? Salvatore was found amongst several feral cats in a local cat colony. He wasn't like the other cats, he was friendly, not feral, sweet and approachable. So much so that he was taken into our shelter as an adoptable kitty thanks to our friends at Sterilization Nation. Once at the shelter Salvatore was on guard, not nice and completely out of sorts. The shelter environment was not a fit for this boy. Thankfully Salvatore had another option - a foster home. In his foster home, he has shown how truly loving and sweet he is. We want to spotlight Salvatore for a few reasons:- He's amazing & adoptable. - Fostering is so important!! We are very thankful Salvatore has a fostering opportunity, otherwise he'd probably get passed over in the shelter due to being (seemingly) unfriendly.- The shelter environment doesn't always allow a pet to show their true personality. It can make them anxious and scared. Take a little extra time to get to know them to give them a real chance.
