Adopt Salina a Domestic Shorthair / Mixed (short coat) cat in Providence

Location:
Providence, RI
Description:

Salina is prancing her way to the adoption scene! This stunning 1-year-old tricolour cutie loves to chat it up with you and happily leaps into a comfy lap for attention. She is a friendly, happy girl who enjoys wand toys, catnip, and of course her fancy feast and sheba wet foods more than anything else! Salina's ideal home would be with someone familiar with calicos/having patience to keep working on her behaviors (especially fun feet). She is still a bit of a sour patch girl- sour and sweet! A street kitty at heart, but is enjoying the indoor life and with consistency and positive reinforcement is sure to blossom into all=star cat status. She would do best without children or other pets where she can get plenty of attention and play. She absolutely LOVES scratching posts and her dream home would have various types of them throughout. She is a very vocal girl- so a fellow conversationalist who doesn't mind adorable, but persistent, meows is key!Do you think Salina could be the one for you? She is part of our Foster-to-Adopt program so you can see her true purrsonality and if she is a good fit. She can't wait to meet you and tell you all about herself- applications are available below!___________________________Ten Lives’ Foster-to-Adopt program gives potential adopters the opportunity to interact and bond with a cat in a home setting prior to making a lifelong commitment. This program is a great way to see a cat’s true personality and watch how they integrate into your household. Please note, only cats listed as foster-to-adopt are eligible for this program. How does it work?Foster-to-adopt applications are reviewed based on our goal of placing cats in their best-matched homes to facilitate lifelong adoptions. Once approved, you will bring home your new friend and have 30 days to determine whether they are a perfect fit for you and your family. During the foster-to-adopt period, you will be responsible for providing food, litter, and monthly flea prevention. Ten Lives will provide any outstanding veterinary care at a partner veterinarian. Please note: Ten Lives will not cover care provided by a non-partner veterinarian. Please take this into consideration when submitting a foster-to-adopt application. At the end of the 30 days, you can make the adoption official by signing an adoption agreement and paying the adoption fee or you can return the cat to the care of Ten Lives.
