ABOUT RUSTY This handsome man is a 3 year old tuxedo. Rusty came to us from another shelter partner, when they no longer had space to keep him. He is very outgoing and quickly became a volunteer favorite! Every morning, he greets our staff with a big meow and adorable kitty eyes. Our cattery team thinks he knows how to make them feel guilty, with one sad look, they have no choice but to sit with him for some snuggles. This affectionate boy is sure to rub against your leg or curl up in your lap. He loves to tell you how he's feeling and what he wants. Rusty enjoys spending his days soaking up some sun and leaning into you for head scratches! **This cat has tested positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Many cats with FIV can live a long and happy lifespan if kept indoors and given routine veterinary care. FIV is not contagious to people or animals other than cats. *To help Rusty find his forever home, a generous donor has sponsored his adoption fee! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
