Everything will be roses and sunshine when you adopt our girl, ROSIE! Meet one of our absolutely gorgeous girls, Rosie! This pretty girl was rescued by a good samaritan; she was either a friendly stray or was dumped. Rosie came to us very pregnant and is now ready to find a home, after doing an awesome job raising her babies. When Rosie was in foster-care, raising her babies, she loved her foster family. She was very affectionate and trusting of them. It was so cute, she'd even bring her babies to her foster mom when she needed a break! Since being back at the shelter, Rosie is a bit more shy. We know once she gets back to a home environment and has a person to work 1:1 with her, that she'll blossom! Rosie gets along absolutely fine with other cats. Rosie tests POSITIVE for FIV which does NOT require daily medications nor impact her quality of life. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is ONLY passed through deep bite wounds between cats and cannot be passed to other animal species or humans. FIV kitties can live with, share food bowls, litter boxes, groom and wrestle with non FIV housemates with no risk of transmission. Rosie qualifies for our special needs fee due to her fiv positive status. Rosie is a young adult who is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, fiv positive and felv negative and microchipped.
