Rose is a beautiful, loving, well mannered cat with lovely soft fur and the cutest little white streak in the middle of her back. She never bites or scratches, and from the beginning has enjoyed snuggling up next to her foster "mom" and purring up a storm. She will allow herself to be picked up and even held stomach up, but she is still getting used to that. In time, she may become quite a lap cat. She is only 10 months old, and had a rough start, raising her own kittens and taking on another litter as well. She was initially very fearful of all the noises and activity in the shelter, However, since coming to her foster home she's come out of her shell with gentle encouragement, and now confidently roams the house, looking for unsuspecting toy mice to pounce upon. She is quite a hunter! She does still startle at times but recovers quickly with encouragement. She would thrive in a loving patient home that can take the time to let her get comfortable in her new home and earn her trust. She does well with gentle children and other cats and she seems to really want a young kitty companion to play and wrestle with. Rose is a real sweetheart who will make a wonderful companion for the right family.
