If you would like more information about Red or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to XXXX@gmail.com or contact this number, 713/858-XXXX Red showed up at my home about 1.5 yrs ago. I’ve been feeding/caring for him outside; he wasn’t interested at all in being indoors. I’ve had him neutered, vaccinated, etc. About 3 weeks ago he decided he wanted to come in and hasn’t left. He shows no interest in going back out even when I open the door for him. Red doesn’t get along at all with other cats; he ran off the other strays I was feeding when he showed up. Since I have 3 cats of my own, he’s been relegated to my kitchen, which is somewhat inconvenient. Red is affectionate and playful. He’s very smart, knows his name and will follow me around. His behavior is kind of “dog like”. He likes people but he has never been around children. I don’t think he’d do well with dogs based on his reaction to them outside. Perhaps he’d be ok with a small, non-aggressive dog but I can’t say for sure. Overall, he’s a great cat for someone who wants a single cat household.
