Pixie is a mischievous little sprite who likes to do things her way. She likes being held--on her terms. She likes being a lap kitty--after she decides to jump in your lap. And she likes having a quiet home--free of dogs or small children that she'll just swat at. If you play by her rules and give her time to get to know you, then she is a wonderful little companion who will sit in your lap and purr. Thanks to the Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, Pixie will have a free dental procedure so her teeth will be clean and her breath will be fresh for her new family. All that's required is transportation to our vet. This 10-year-old feline is looking for a comfy retirement home where her wishes will be respected and her needs will be met. Think you can measure up to her standards? Then come for a visit! We're open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5pm, Thursdays and Fridays 12-7pm, and Saturdays and Sundays 11am-5pm.
