Do you need a spicy little marshmallow in your life? If so, handsome Petey might be the one for you. His history is unknown since he was rescued as a stray in a culvert during rainy weather. Petey is still learning to trust humans and can be quite loving when he feels comfortable; for now, he prefers to initiate contact. He seems to appreciate interactive play with his person and being on a routine. He's very food motivated, and he gets excited at mealtime. He likes to play and explore, but he can also be content to chill. Petey is good at entertaining himself - lying in a nearby room, watching the world from the window, or finding the perfect sunbeam for a nap. Some of his favorite things are his scratching post, a food puzzle ball, and cardboard boxes. He’s quite intelligent and agile. He's ready to show his stuff to his new family!
