Male, DSH, approx 3 years Temperament : friendly, snuggly, talkative Oscar is easygoing and friendly! He quickly settled into his foster home and adjusted to his new environment. He is a great work-from-home buddy. While he'll swing by your desk for some pets now and then, he will calmly keep himself entertained with his toys or by calmly napping. Once work is done, Oscar loves to play with his stick toy, hunting and chasing after it, or snuggle up next to you while you watch some tv. Oscar is very observant and gets a kick out of looking out at the world by perching up by a window. He'll calmly follow you as you complete tasks around the house just to see what's going on. He adores watching "cat tv" (videos with birds, fish, squirrels, and strings) and captively tracks the action on the screen. He is really affectionate. Oscar lift your spirits by cutely placing his paw or head on your arm while he naps or hopping up on the sofa just to spend some time with you. He practically melts with bliss when you scratch his head. His presence brings a lot of joy. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter (unless specified). We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam prior to adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDR&CK. City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia vaccines. They are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a negative mother in foster care. Most cats and dogs will have a house training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained. We also update our Facebook page daily with new cats and dogs.
