Meet Onyx, he is a really pretty petite tabby boy with the most affectionate personality. He came to us from the Bronx where he was found hanging outside a large apartment building, most likely he was dumped by one of the tenants there as he was trying his darnedest to get back into that building. Luckily he scratched on the door of one our volunteers who immediately scooped him up. Turns out Onyx is just the sweetest kitty on the planet! He loves spending all his time near or beside his new human friends. His favorite place to nap is on your warm lap where he will settle in for a long restful sleep. He also enjoys hanging out on the windowsill watching the birds and the day pass. Unfortunately Onyx tested positive for FeLV, although he does not show any sign of illness, Onyx will be ok as long as he has a safe stress free life indoors. He will require the same care as any pet - healthy food, clean water and yearly visits to the Vet. Onyx is just the “cat’s meow” an affectionate little creature who is happiest when near his human friends, he just wants to be part of the crowd, preferably cuddling in your arms, he is bound to bring much warmth and fun to any loving household.Onyx tested FIV negative/ FeLV positive, is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations.
