This is Nermal! Named after the Cutest Kitten Alive, Nermal may not be a kitten, but we think she is pretty cute! Nermal came to TCR after she showed up on a kind family's porch, begging to come in. They fed and cared for her, but they were severely allergic to cats and could not bring her in themselves. One day, Nermal showed up with a wound on her cheek, and her kind caretakers reached out to many rescues, asking for help with her. They were able to get Nermal the care she needed for her injured cheek, and we were able to find a space for her in foster care. Now her outdoor days are over! Nermal is a quiet, gentle girl who is estimated to be about four years old. She is friendly yet a little reserved at first... but a real doll once she warms up to you. Nermal loves to be petted and is very easy to handle. She's a big sweetheart for sure! Nermal has not been fostered with other kitties here at TCR, but she may be able to get along with another laid back cat, with proper introductions. She has not yet met a dog. We think that she would be fine with older, respectful kiddos. Nermal has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-.
