Mellow, Sweetheart, Introvert Mount Dora is shy at first and will hide. After some time, she will allow pets and will come out for them! Once she gets to know you, she can be coaxed from her cozy nooks for some affection. She is a laidback cat that splits her time alone, with her long-time companion Elwood Blues (124882) and her human. Mount Dora has not been very playful with toys, she prefers to lounge while getting pets and belly rubs. She will chirp at you when you say her name and talk to her. She also loves to dine with her human. She prefers to eat with her family! Take the time to eat with her or be near her while she eats and she will adore you. Mount Dora is a brownish grey color with tabby markings. She is a slender girl that will curl into your hand when you pet her sweet face. She loves the rub her cheeks into your fingers and palms. If you pull away before she is ready, she extends her paw toward you or your hand to continue getting love. "Don't go just yet!" is what she would say if she could tell you. Mount Dora would do best in a quiet home with Elwood Blues - these girls have been together for almost forever and must be kept together.
