Once you've done that and would like to move forward, we ask that you then visit our website to review our adoption process and requirements and schedule an on-site appointment (or visit during our walk-in hours). www.ggohinc.com Mitzie and her brother, Mac came to us as strays that had taken up residence under an older gentleman's home/porch. This gentleman was concerned for their safety with the extreme cold weather we were having as he couldn't take them in. We're thankful he reached out so these two could get proper care and could find their forever, indoor, home(s). Mitzie is a little nervous still but she is learning to trust and to accept human touch - as you can see from her video (video posted on her PetFinder listing - https://www.petfinder.com/cat/mitzie-62374875/wi/new-richmond/gregorys-gift-of-hope-inc-wi432/), she is adapting quite nicely and is ready for a home of her own. She's a lovely petite girl who needs someone who will allow her to adapt to a new home and family at her pace - that might be fast, or slow - we never know as quite often when a cat's person comes along, the transformation in that cat can be a wonderful thing to witness. We've seen it so many times - the shy cat becomes instantly outgoing and you just know the right person has entered their life. Maybe that person for Mitzie is you? Mitzie does fine with other cats and has been socializing with the cats in her designated room here at GGOH - everyone has been very welcoming to her. She's been around a small dog who she really hasn't paid much attention to - large dogs are an unknown. Children that can respect Mitzie's need to go slow until she's comfortable shouldn't be an issue - highly active children might not be her cup of tea, however. This little lady has shown so much potential and we are excited that it's time for her to find a new forever home. Hopefully, we'll find her that home soon! Mitzie has an approx. DOB of 2/4/2022.
