Adopt Millie O'Brien a White Domestic Shorthair (short coat) cat in Portland

Location:
Portland, OR
Description:

Meet Millie O’Brien! ♡ Millie is a beautiful cream-colored tabby. She is super rare - fun fact: 80% of orange tabbies are boys! This sweet girl really enjoys hanging out with her siblings and loves, loves, loves cat trees. You can typically find her nestled in her cat tree on the highest tower. She would like to request a cat tree in every room of her forever home. Her siblings are teaching her how to let loose and play - she’s slowly getting the hang of it! This sweet girl is more on the shy side and will need a patient adopter. A more outgoing kitty buddy would also help her be more confident in her forever home! Millie is also very smart and a quick learner. She is a master at the litter box – she is always making sure everything is clean and tidy. Millie isn’t bonded with any of her siblings, but would love to be adopted with one. Two kittens are always better than one! Millie is currently living in our cat barn with her 6 siblings! It’s a full house of kitten cuteness and chaos! She is super great with all of the cats in there. She is soooo ready for a home to call her own! Don’t miss out on this sweet girl! Our PNW cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $375 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (2 to 3 depending on age and time in the program), FIV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.), a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
