Cheerful, Adventurous, Cuddly When Mew Wave burst onto the APA! scene she quickly developed quite the fan base! She has a way of drawing people in with her pretty tabby stripes, her adorably diminutive size and her slightly bashful, but quick to warm up nature. Mew Wave is curious about people when she first meets them. She is fine with being petted as she checks you out. Have a treat on hand? Even better! She enjoys having a snack as she gets to know you. If you sit down, there is a good chance Mew Wave will decide to climb into your lap. She is also fine with being picking up and put there. When she isn't sharing affection, she likes to play. She especially adores her little penguin toy. Mew Wave is now enjoying life in a foster home. She discovered mirrors and loves to sit in front of one gazing at her reflection. We know she knows she's the fairest of them all! She's also thrilled to have someone nearby to snuggle with because this girl LOVES to snuggle! Mew Wave makes her own kind of music. Her unique meow sounds like a mix between a pigeon and a motor. She plays her purr song even when she isn't being petted and it's always a hit! Mew Wave has coexisted peacefully with other cats. They each did their own thing and everyone was happy. We think she would get along well with gentle kiddos. Mew Wave is such a sweet, loving cat. Ready to be her favorite forever groupie? It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Mew Wave can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine!
