This little gal is sweet, just shy. She came to Walker County animal shelter with a huge wolf worm in her neck. Removal left a big neck wound in danger of infection, especially on a small kitten. We pulled her to make sure she received the medication she needed and then to feed her, socialize her and get her fully vetted so that this sweetie would be able to find a great, indoor forever home.Meredith is now fully vetted and very healthy. She is a sweetie and is always begging for attention. She is in a kennel all by herself and really wants to get out and live the life of a normal kitten -- running, playing, climbing and making people laugh. Black cats are the best and Meredith promises to show someone who is willing to meet her that this statement is true. If you've always wanted a black cat, some give this little girl a chance.
