Melvin, affectionately known as Melon due to his round features, is a charming tuxedo with a happy face, inquisitive yellow-green eyes, and an irresistible round white tummy. This young fellow is an enthusiast of playtime, always eager to dive into tunnels or blankets and scale the cat tree. He loves playing with his toys, and more than that, would greatly enjoy a playmate to share the fun. Sociable and fearless, Melvin also enjoys a bit of snuggling when he gets sleepy and cozy. He's growing more and more affectionate as time goes on, and you'll hear him meow for attention, and purr when you give it to him. Energetic and outgoing, Melvin confidently explores new places and is always ready to climb on things. His favorite toys include string toys, especially those with feathers, crinkle balls, rolly balls, and tunnels. When it's time to rest, his preferred sleeping spots are a cozy cat tree or a comfy chair. When it comes to food, Melvin isn't shy about expressing his needs and will meow to let you know it's mealtime. Melvin has had positive interactions with kittens, cats, adult men, adult women, and young adults, and children, exhibiting his confident, sociable nature. He is up for lots of attention as long as you don't try to hold on to him for too long. He is a squirmy cuddler until he winds down for the day. While Melvin isn't strictly bonded to any cat, he shares a closeness with his mother Mavis. But, another kitten or cat playmate, someone who can keep up with his playful personality, would make him the happiest!
