Marksman is a sweet 10-year-old brown tabby cat. He came to APL injured in February 2023 and continues getting stronger every day. He is friendly and likes attention. He loves to be held and will purr contentedly while offering chin nuzzles in appreciation. When people come by and talk with him, he likes to talk back. Marksman is fan of food right now as he is building up his strength to become his best and handsome self while waiting for his fur-ever home. Marksman tested positive for both FIV and FeLV, which means he can go to a home with other FeLV+ cats. He cannot live in a home with FeLV negative cats. Marksman is available for our permanent foster program, where you provide the loving home and we provide his medical care. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Marksman, fill out an application at apl-shelter.org or come visit him in-person at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. The APL is open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
