Description:
Malachi is a very independent cat, he loves some scratches, and possibly even more, loves kibble...and catnip. Don't even get him started on catnip, it is his kitty drug. He can be an independent cat but he does enjoy being loved on when it comes to him. Every now and then he will randomly approach you, sit and stare, and meow until you pet and cuddle him. You can tell how much he loves being brushed and combed because it is non stop purring when happening. We've recently learned that he also enjoys chewing on grass and playing with it outdoors. He can come off as spacey, in a cute way, he appears to be pondering a lot. He'll sit and observe things, we sometimes refer to him as the "philosopher cat". Malachi is friendly with other animals, but does not like dogs larger than himself, he is very fearful of them. He is about 13 lbs. We would like for him to be adopted with his 6 year old littermate Goldie, they are buddies.
