If you are looking for an overly affectionate cuddler, Mackerel is the cat for you. He is the snuggliest, most loving cat that has ever lived. He will come when called, because he loves pets that much. Mackerel is overly patient with other animals, children and people. (Ok with dogs, cats and hedgehogs). If Mackerel could talk, he would tell you how he’s never been loved in his life (not true). He would say he’s never had a treat (he’s had a few too many) and never known the light of the sun (he loves sunbathing in our garden from time to time). As much as I’d love to spoil this fur baby for the rest of his days, we have added 2 new kids to our home, this combined with his lukewarm attitude to the kid’s father has resulted in “accidents” outside the litter box when dad comes home from work. We’ve spent hundreds on vet visits, blood work, and automatic litter boxes with no resolution. Looking for a home that will love and appreciate Mack for who he is, a king of cuddles
