Meet Lindsey ~ who came to us on the Freedom Ride, back in December 2021, escaping death. Lindsey was one of 3 sisters. We originally only had enough room to save one of them and scrambled to find a way to save all 3 sisters We asked the shelter if any of them had come from the same address - yes!! - so we were able to save all 3 and place them comfortably in a crate suite.They had been through a lot - each one in a separate cages (the rule in shelters) and we are certain that each one didn't know if the other had made it - after also being placed in separate carriers for the 8 hour drive to us. Can't imagine how frightened they were. When they arrived at their foster home, they were THRILLED to see each other again! Purrs all around and everyone was busy cleaning each other. Lindsey is a beautiful torti and is very friendly and loving and is outgoing. She loves to explore and investigate her surroundings (and was the first one to do so after moving out of the crate suite. She loves to sit on your lap and will periodically share her opinions of the show with you during the commercial breaks. She would make a great companion animal.Lindsey is ready to go home with an approved application and will need a quiet, low activity home with no kids or kids over the age of 10.She is spayed, received FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration.
