We adopted Lilly about 9 years ago from PALs. She was about 8 weeks old then. We adopted her as a companion for my older son who was 5 at the time and, given that I am highly allergic to cats, my son and my husband have mostly cared for her. Fast forward to January of this year when my youngest turned 6, we found out that he has asthma, triggered by many factors, including allergies to dander. She's been a great cat throughout the years and this is not an easy thing to do but we need to lower the amount of allergens and dander in our home. She's a sweet girl most of the time, she comes to you for love and takes her leave when she's done. She's okay with dogs, she'll keep her distance until she wants to play then leave when she gets tired. I'm not sure about other cats. She's okay with kids also, as long as she's up for playing. If she's not, she'll get moody if she doesn't get left alone. Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you!
