Say hi to Lilith who is in foster care in Seattle area! She is a beautiful, sensitive, and playful American Shorthair Calico cat. She is energetic, intelligent, loves to chat, and is very sweet with trusted humans. Unfortunately, after many months of trying, Lilith has been unable to peacefully co-exist with her other cat roommate. She would be much happier in a home where she is the only furry friend.She has a strong personality and requires a patient caretaker who is willing to put in the effort to earn her trust and help her feel safe. She is anxious with new people and tends to run and hide. Once she is comfortable with a person, she can be picked up and held easily, though reading her body language and respecting her boundaries is key. She loves snuggling under a blanket or occasionally settling in your lap, and her fur is so soft for pets!She needs regular play, and gets hilariously acrobatic when chasing rodent, bird, or bug-sized wand toys. She is extremely food motivated, and will let you know when it’s mealtime (or playtime). She responds very well to treats, both dry and in tubes. She is healthy and has perfect bathroom habits.
