Description:
Libby was abandoned by a neighbor who moved and left her. She primarily lived outdoors and was fed by various neighbors . I took her in one winter night when it was very cold. It’s been about 3 1/2 years ago. She was updated on all her shots 2 years ago. She has always been sweet but wary, probably because of her experience when abandoned. She is very playful when I interact with her. She doesnt like to be brushed but I found she is much more tolerant of it when I brush just before feeding. She knows she is going to get a reward. She is a sweet cuddler. If I sit or lie down, she will be there beside me momentarily. Libby does not like to be held but will occasionally come up on my lap briefly. She tends to want to over eat so she gets weighed every week and feeding adjusted accordingly. I have been working more and unable to give her the time she deserves, also will be moving in a few months.
