SEARCHING FOR A UNICORN!Lemon had a very, very hard Spay Day. This sweet and adorable kitten started to cross that rainbow bridge on the table, but was brought back, albeit with some difficulties. While she’s made amazing progress since first waking up, regaining mobility and hearing, eating well and using the litterbox on her own, making jumps to heights she can feel out with her whiskers, and more, she still is just a touch wobbly and mostly blind. She’s extremely sweet and loves being held, and plays with certain toys, mostly those that wobble or involve catnip. She loves jumping at her jingle toy on the door and swatting her chirping spring toy, happily greets you when you enter, and will circle your legs to keep you as close as possible.Lemon hasn't had much practice with stairs, but has gone down successfully on her own, so we're confident she'd get the hang of it. She has minor litter issues that we'll happily talk you through and support as much as possible, but nothing that's been an issue in her foster home. She does need very slow introductions to other cats, but has made cat friends before (currently Luke and Leia, available through Humane Society of Loudoun County... if you're up for a group of 4, give them a look!), and loves her sister Lime. She's amazingly good with humans, even strangers, though, and always up for making a new friend who will love on her like she knows she deserves.While Lemon may have some special needs, we're confident that the right family is out there for her, along with her sister Lime (who is just about purrfect, if a bit shy at first).
