Hi I'm Leche! My siblings and I were rescued when we were just 2 days old - they were black & white and were named after cows so I was named Leche (milk)! When I was a couple of weeks old I was diagnosed with CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia)! It makes me a little bit wobbly, but it's so mild It's barely noticeable and definitely doesn't limit me from doing anything or having a full life! When I was 2 months old I was diagnosed with cataracts and a then glaucoma! So, on the day I was spayed I also underwent Enucleation surgery to remove both damaged eyes! Before that, I was never able to see details--just shadows and light--so there wasn't much of an adjustment period after my surgery! I still run around the house, including up & down the stairs, climb onto my foster mama's bed and on the couch and cat trees - just like a normal kitten! You would never know that I'm missing both of my eyes! I love playing soccer with crinkle balls and other toys that I can bat around the floor! I wrestle and run around with the other foster kittens in my house and cuddle with the adult cats but my favorite activity is cuddling with my foster mama! I have been my foster mamas shadow since I was big enough to climb onto her lap! I love people and would do well in almost any family as long as there's a routine, some predictability AND I'm able to snuggle in someone's bed every night - that is super important to me and not optional! The adoption team is available if you have questions about CH or not sure if a blind kitty is the right fit for your family!
