Hello, my name is Keelie!I was so malnourished and teeny when my rescuers found me that they thought I was a kitten. Nope, I was a year old but only 3 pounds! I may have had a rough start to life but now I'm living the dream life and soaking up all the luxuries. My foster mom says I'm a "diva". She smiles and gives me love when she says it so diva must be a good thing.I have almost doubled my weight thanks to my foster mom feeding me canned food 4-5 times a day. I do eat the dry stuff but it's really hard to chew. I do get bored with my food though and like to change it up with a variety of flavors. Sometimes when I'm bored with it and won't eat my food my foster mom stands next to me to tell me I'm a good girl after every bite. If she forgets, I remind her.I'm a girl who really likes my routine and schedule. If I get stressed or anxious, I run a lot and don't sleep...at all. Sometimes my mom puts me in a quiet space to rest if there are any big changes at my house and that help me not worry so much. I love to play, like all the time I love to play. I play chase and with all the toys but springs are my favorites!I like my adult foster feline siblings. The furry sibling they call a dog is fine as long as he leaves me alone. Sometimes though I walk by and smack him just so he remembers to leave me alone.I have two human siblings they call teenagers in my foster home and they're pretty cool, especially the boy one. I love to sit in the chair with him and watch tv. I don't really like to snuggle though, except late at night when I can curl up on my moms chest when the rest of the house is quiet. That's the best. Sometimes I let my mom pick me up and give me love but then I have to tell her that's enough so I can go play.I would really love a forever family with other active grown-up cats. And I need a mom or dad who will keep feeding me often so I can keep gaining weight. Since I get stressed so easily I need a family with a predictable routine and schedule. Because I'm so busy (and fast!) I wouldn't be great in a home with anyone with mobility issues. I like to dart down the stairs right in front of my family to race them to the bottom.In the right home though, I would love to settle in and let my personality shine. I am talkative, very social and always entertaining!---My adoption fee of $100 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention.
