Black/white/orange calico, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/8/21, #18564Other cats: comfortable Dogs: likely okay Children: respectful kids likely okay A lady in a condominium complex spotted Kathy hanging around and reached out for help on her behalf to a local rescuer who helps homeless cats get spay/neutered. When the rescuer took Kathy to get spayed, she couldn't bear to release her back to fend for herself... Kathy was such a doll! Plans got rearranged and Kathy was able to move into a foster home. Now she's ready to move on to find a permanent loving home with a human to call her own.The decision of Kathy's rescuer to give her the chance to live a happy life as a pampered pet was definitely the right call... this beautiful girl settled in easily and showed the full extent of her sweet nature. Kathy is very appreciative of your affections while not being over the top or pesky. She is a social and mellow kitty who makes a wonderful companion to hang out with. In particular, Kathy's a great listener! She will meet your eyes as you talk to her. Kathy loves to sunbathe, and her favorite spot is a cradle set up against the window where she can bask in the best sunbeams. Kathy lived with a couple of other cats in foster care and was comfortable around those who didn't mind her. She also met a dog, and so long as a calm canine is okay with her presence seems to be fine. While we have not yet seen her around children, her personality suggests that if she is treated with gentle respect that she would likely do well with most new friends.Kathy is a happy-natured kitty who is ready to share her life with a family of her own. Will she win your heart?
