Kate, a 1 1/2-year-old black domestic short hair, is a gentle soul in need of a quiet and calm home. Kate is one of 100+ cats that came from a local hoarding case. She's a bit shy but loves gentle affection and slow movements. While she's not a fan of being picked up, she adores the company of other cats. Due to past flea infestation, she has some scars and hair loss, but with proper care and attention, she'll blossom into a beautiful feline companion. Kate would thrive best in an adult home with experienced cat owners who understand her need for patience and confidence-building. Can live with dogs that are respectful of cats. *Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
