We adopted Jack in summer of 2022 when he was 9 months old. We went to our local shelter and he was extremely friendly and sweet with us. We adopted him originally to be a friend and playmate to our resident cat. However, over the past year with several attempts and efforts to get them to be friends, they still don’t get a long and tend to fight. Jack is very playful, energetic, and young at heart. He needs playtime and stimulation! He enjoys playing fetch with his toys (toy mice), playing with the laser, looking out the window, climbing on his cat tree, and batting at a toy on string. He has moments where he enjoys cuddling and sitting on you or being held. Sometimes he enjoys his space to be by himself. Definitely a cat lover home. He doesn’t get a long with our cat, so maybe best if he is an only cat. Sometimes anxious and scared of our one year old. Also, he gets into our plants so plant lovers beware! He’s a sweet young boy who needs lots of love and a home where he fits in.
