Hermoine will need to be in a home with another kitten. She is playful and happy to be held. She tested FIV+. So she will need to be retested at 6 months old to see if she has FIV or just the antibodies from her mother. Even if she is FIV+ she can safely live with FIV- cats because FIV is only transmissible through mating and deep puncture wounds. Her foster parents are Christine C. The adoption fee for Hermoine is $140. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted. All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter.
