Sadly, Henny had been brought in to be euthanized due to a large hernia which the owners did not want to spend the money on fixing. The owner kept momma and her sibling but didn't see the value in this sweetheart's life. Sad and so infuriating but thank heavens that our vet partner intervened and said nope, not euthanizing. Once in our care, Henny was bottle fed and kept under a watchful eye until she was old enough and strong enough to undergo surgery. Today, Henny is the picture of good health and ready for adoption. Yay, Henny! This little girl is so full of love - she doesn't have a mean bone in her body and LOVES everyone. She has a soft spot for some of our older cats and is often found playing or lounging with them. She of course runs and plays with the other kittens we have here, too. Because she is so lovable and enjoys the company of other cats, we are insistent that she be adopted with another of our cat/kittens or at a minimum, there must be an existing active and playful cat in the home to provide her with the connection of one of her own species. And no, we will not waiver on this - once you meet Henny, you'll understand our position on this one. But hey, what's there not to like about the thought of having two kitties in your life - two is always better than one. :) As stated, Henny is such a loving kitten but beyond just being cute and cuddly, she's playful, spunky, energetic (https://fb.watch/lU8qTZe8r2/ - copy/paste this url into your browser and watch her go on her morning workout on the kitty wheel - she loves her morning stroll!), curious (but not nosey), and a bit funny, too. She's one of those kittens that most find impossible to ignore - you walk into our facility and there's Henny, right there to greet you. While she is all of that, she's not needy and knows when the humans need a break. Smart kitty. If all of this sounds too good to be true, we dare you to make a trip out and meet her - you'll see. We're not kidding - she's pretty much purrfect! Henny's DOB is 1/29/2023.
