After she became severely depressed in the shelter, we found a foster who would open their hearts to our special Gizmo. When Gizzy first came to us, she was pretty fearful and selective with her human interaction. We soon realized that a lot of her moodiness was due to severe pain from arthritis. She is treated with monthly injections and daily meds for her arthritis. These treatments have brought out a brighter side to Gizmo. She loves cuddles and head rubs and has such a sweet, gentle purr. She enjoys sunshine and playing with string toys! Our Giz Girl came from the streets, and she's still got that spunk in her. Her foster tells us that she has her "feral zoomies", where she will run around the room and meow for a minute, before settling back on the couch and purring. Gizzy will need to be in a single-cat home with an experienced cat parent where she can get the care and love she deserves.
