Freckles was adopted from HSSV as a kitten in 2019 and returned in April 2023 after suffering from severe skin disease; his previous owner could no longer provide him with the care he needed. After a long treatment in the care of his incredible, dedicated foster home, Freckles made an amazing transformation. His skin condition is now under control and he is ready for adoption! What his foster has to say about him: "Freckles is a friendly and mellow cat. He loves to gaze out of a window or door in the sun. He also likes some play time with a wand toy or mouse. He's a sweet buddy for someone who spends time at home. Also, Freckles' special skill is that he can open a handled door! He stands up, pulls down the handle with his paw to unlatch it, and then pushes the door open. Freckles is one smart cat!"
