Hello! I have ringworm, a treatable fungal infection of the skin that can be itchy but otherwise harmless in minor cases like mine. I require a course of Itraconazole, an antifungal medication that is taken by mouth every day for a few weeks. Ringworm can be transmissible to humans and other animals, so it's important to keep me separate from other pets in the home, wash hands after playing with me, and perhaps have a specific set of clothes to wear when interacting with me. Giving me lyme sulfur dip baths a couple of times per week can also help to minimize risk of spreading.
